The Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, equipment, material, and/or services
and otherwise do all things necessary for or incidental to the performance of the work set
forth in Exhibit "A" of the original agreement and incorporated herein.
Due to the supplier that provides Mason County Public Works with the oil used for chip
sealing has shut down for the Winter season, State Parks is prepared to modify the above-
referenced agreement as follows:
STATEMENT OF WORK
Exhibit "A" - Scope of Work
Mason County Public Works is going to asphalt (hot mix asphalt CL. '/ In. PG 58H-22)a
16' (two lanes) wide approach from Ballow Rd. to the gate of Walter Scott Road (approx.
450 LF). From the gate at the top of Walter Scott Road they will double shot chip seal (oil
is CR5 2P with #1 to 14" 0 ' P Mason County Public Works will
also pave a 12' roadway from the approach to approximately a half mile of Walter Scott
Road from Ballow Road.
PAYMENT
Compensation for the additional work provided in accordance with this amendment has been
established under the terms of RCW 39.34.130. The parties have estimated that the cost of
accomplishing the additional work herein will not exceed Two Thousand and No/100ths
Dollars ($2,000.000).
Unless otherwise amended in writing, total compensation under this Agreement shall not now
exceed Seventy-One Thousand and No/100ths Dollars ($71,000.00).

Contractor will continue to document time and expenses in accordance with the terms of
the original agreement. An executed original of this amendment will be provided following
