9:00 A.M. Closed Session—RCW 42.30.140(4)Labor Discussion
Commissioners Neatherlin,Tarzwell,and Trask met in closed session for labor negotiation from 9:00
a.m.to 9:30 a.m.Attendees:Travis Adams,Kim Monroe,Kayla Brinckmeyer,Christopher Pinkston.
9:30 A.M. State Auditor's Office
Commissioners Neatherlin,Tarzwell,and Trask were in attendance.
• Christine MacIntyre,Assistant Audit Manager,and Colleen Williams,Audit Lead,discussed the
financial statement and federal grant compliance audits for January 1,2025 through December 31,
2025.
9:45 A.M. Public Works—Loretta Swanson
Utilities&Waste Management
Commissioners Neatherlin,Tarzwell,and Trask were in attendance.
• Kobree Glaser shared the County Road Project(CRP)2062 Evergreen Estates Water Main Extension
Project Closeout.Approved to move forward.
9:50 A.M. Support Services—Travis Adams
Commissioners Neatherlin,Tarzwell,and Trask were in attendance.
• McKenzie Smith discussed the Commissioner Board,Council,and Committee assignments.
• Kim Monroe shared the 2027 non-represented medical contribution rates at$1,674 per month per
employee.Approved to move forward.
• Travis discussed the outstanding Public Facilities.09 Fund requests for 2027.Four requests were
received in total from Public Utility District(PUD)No.2,PUD No. 1,City of Shelton,and the Mason
County Economic Development Council(EDC).Cmmr.Neatherlin asked to wait until the new year.
• Travis discussed the renaming of the Purdy Creek Bridge and compiling the information for the
Washington State Department of Transportation(WSD0T).
• Cmmr.Neatherlin and Cmmr.Tarzwell discussed the budget and potential budget cuts further.A
budget discussion will be scheduled for Monday,September 28.
