Call to Order—The Chairperson called the regular meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. 2. Pledge of Allegiance—Kell Rowen led the flag salute. 3. Roll Call—Present: Commissioner District 1 —Randy Neatherlin; Commissioner District 2— Pat Tarzwell;Absent: Commissioner District 3—Sharon Trask. 4. Correspondence and Organizational Business 4.1 Correspondence 4.1.1 Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board sent in local authority renewal notice. 4.1.2 Kristian Schonberg submitted a Planning Advisory Commission(PAC)application. 4.1.3 Kathleen Bakergrumprecht Davies submitted a Timberland Regional Library(TRL)Board of Trustees application. 4.1.4 Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board sent in notice of special occasion license for Boys and Girls Clubs of Thurston County. 4.2 Melissa Casey read the Local Plan Committee Citizen Membership news release. 4.3 Kell Rowen read the Planning Advisory Commission(PAC)Openings news release. 5. Open Forum for Citizen Input Pastor Mike Katz led the Commission in prayer. Steve VanDenover questioned why the Belfair sewer pump station,funded by public money,has not been conveyed to Mason County,leaving the county without direct access. He raised concerns about sewer compliance and the lack of public documentation,and requested the county investigate and provide an explanation within 30 days and make the related documents publicly accessible. Tamra Ingwaldson,New Horizon Communities,presented an invitation to a garden party on September 19,2026. Joshua Chaney provided an introduction as the new Shelton Veterans Village program support supervisor. 6. Adoption of Agenda Cmmr.Neatherlin/Tarzwell moved and seconded to adopt the agenda as published.Motion carried.Neatherlin-aye;Tarzwell-aye;Trask-absent. 7. Approval of Minutes Cmmr.Neatherlin/Tarzwell moved and seconded to adopt the July 20,August 3,and amended August 10,2026,Briefing Minutes to reflect Cmmr.Trask was in attendance;and July 7,July 21,and August 4,2026,Regular Meeting Minutes as presented.Motion carried.Neatherlin-aye; Tarzwell-aye;Trask-absent. 8. Approval of Action Agenda 8.1 Approval of Warrants and Treasurer Electronic Remittances Claims Clearing Fund Warrant#8112694-8122864 $1,794,182.29 Direct Deposit Fund Warrant# 128334-128740 $1,005,015.62 Salary Clearing Fund Warrant#7009873-7009913 $1,294,734.80 Treasurer Electronic Remittance $ 465,193.82 8.2 Approval for the Chair to electronically sign the County Road Administration(CRAB)Rural Arterial Program(RAP)Project Final Prospectus for Old Belfair Highway Improvement Project milepost 2.60 to milepost 3.89 and Cloquallum Road Improvement Project milepost 7.80 to milepost 12.77. 8.3 Approval of the Resolution amending Resolution No.2025-064 to change the grinder pump fee on the Belfair and North Bay/Case Inlet 2026 and 2027 Fee Schedules from a fixed fee to "Actual Cost".(Resolution No.2026-035) 8.4 Approval of the Resolution amending Resolution No.2025-061 for the Mason County Veterans'Advisory Board Operating Policy&Procedures per the recommendation of the Veterans'Advisory Board(VAB).(Resolution No.2026-036) 8.5 Approval of the letter of support for Public Utility District(PUD)No.3 submission to the Washington State Community Economic Revitalization Board(CERB)to extend their open- access Ready-to-Connect fiber. Other Business(Department Heads and Elected Officials) No other business. 10. 9:15 a.m.Public Hearings and Items Set for a Certain Time Please see above options to provide public testimony. These options are available only while COVID-19 OPMA meeting restrictions are in place. 10.1 Public Hearing to take public comment on the petition to name the Senator Tim Sheldon Bridge. Staff:Travis Adams Travis,County Administrator,this hearing is to take public comment on the petition to name the Senator Tim Sheldon Bridge and is one hearing in a series. Public comment can be submitted through the end of August. No motion. 11. Board's Calendar and Reports—The Commissioners reported on meetings attended the past week and announced their upcoming weekly meetings. 12.
