8. Approval of Action Agenda
Items listed under “Action Agenda” may be enacted by one motion unless a Commissioner or citizen requests an item be
removed from the Action Agenda and considered a separate item.
8.1 Approval of Warrants and Treasurer Electronic Remittances
Claims Clearing Fund Warrant # 8122865-8123324 $2,561,742.98
Direct Deposit Fund Warrant # 128741-129146 $ 985,212.18
Salary Clearing Fund Warrant # 7009914-7009943 $ 627,317.81
8.2 Approval to appoint Kristian Schonberg to the Planning Advisory Commission (PAC) for a term expiring
January 31, 2028.
8.3 Approval to award the contract to Ember Alliance for the preparation of a Community Wildfire Preparedness
Plan (CWPP) in the amount of $109,609.
8.4 Approval of the Resolution authorizing the sole-source purchase of five (5) E-One grinder pumps, replacement
parts, and related components from Correct Equipment in the amount of $42,517.13 through December 31,
2028, provided funds have been appropriated in approved budget and all applicable County purchasing
requirements are met.
8.5 Approval for the Deputy Director of Utilities and Waste to execute the Kennedy/Jenks Consultant Contract
Amendment No. 2 to increase the contract amount by $279,652, for a total not-to exceed amount of $599,666
for the North Bay/Case Inlet General Sewer Plan Update.

8.6 Approval to set a Public Hearing for Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 9:15 a.m. to approve the Ordinance
amending Mason County Code Chapter 6.04 Definitions and General Provisions.
8.7 Approval of the Resolution for County Road Project (CRP) 2076 Finch Creek Road and CRP 2077 Upper
Finch Creek Road Improvement Projects and approval for the County Engineer to advertise, set bid dates and
times, award contract, and for the County Engineer and/or Chair to sign all pertinent documents.
8.8 Approval for Public Works to advertise, set bid opening date and time, award contract, and for the Chair to
sign all pertinent documents for the 2027 Manufacturing and Stockpiling of Chip Seal Aggregate and approval
for the County Engineer to procure and enter into a two-year agreement for On-Call Environmental Studies as
necessary for the 2026-2027 calendar years from the County Municipal Research and Services Center (MRSC)
Consultant Roster, with an option for the County Engineer to extend an additional year. The maximum
expenditure shall not exceed $200,000 per calendar year.
8.9 Approval to set a Public Hearing for Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 9:15 a.m. to review the 2027 Annual
Construction Program and the Six-Year Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for 2027-2032.
8.10 Approval of the Request for Proposals for Services that Support Attractions in Mason County and Request for
Proposals for Services that Support Tourism in Mason County.
8.11 Approval of the Request for Proposals for Mason County Recreation Area (MCRA) Concessions.
8.12 Approval of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Mason County Juvenile Detention and
Teamsters Union Local No. 252 for updated clothing allowance language.
8.13 Approval of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Mason County, Teamsters Union Local No.
252, and Operating Engineers Local No. 302 for the Public Works Camera Use Policy.
8.14 Approval to appoint Dr. Deborah Nedelcove to the Timberland Regional Library (TRL) Board of Trustees to
fill an unexpired term expiring December 31, 2031.
8.15 Approval of the Modification of Participating Agreement Between Mason County and the United States (U.S.)
Department of Agriculture Invasive Plant Inventory Prevention and Control in Mason County Agreement No.
24-PA-11060900-042.
