Meeting Minutes
May 21, 2026
The regular meeting was called to order at 5:00 P.M. by Chairperson Mark Nault.
1. Roll Call:
Commissioners present: Mark Nault and Eric Gough
Others present: Tami Beyer, Keli Dunlap, Danielle Drogmund and Tenielle Masteller
2. Approval of Minutes
Commissioners Mark Naultand Eric Goughmoved and seconded to approve
April 16, 2026, regular meeting minutes.
Motion carried.
3. Open Forum for Citizen Input
Public comment was received from Danielle Drogmund regarding the
promotional examination process, specifically the Corporal eligibility list rankings.
Ms. Drogmund expressed concern that candidates on the list appeared to have
similar rankings, while her score was reportedly 17 points lower and asked what
actions could be taken to review or investigate the matter. Ms. Drogmund stated
she would gather any supporting documentation and submit it to Civil Service via
email.
Commissioners Mark and Eric requested additional information regarding the
promotional examination process be provided in advance of the next meeting.
4. Chief Examiner Update
4.1 Position Tracking
There are currently 6funded vacant positions:
1 Deputy Sheriff
5 Corrections Deputies
4.2 C. Farley - LateralCorrections Deputy Eligibility List Appeal Decision
Mark Nault moved and Eric Gough seconded, to approve thedecision to uphold the
removal of C. Farleyfrom the Lateral Corrections Deputy Eligibility List
5. Sheriff’s Office Update –Chief Beyer
5.1 Corrections
There are currently six vacancies following the retirement of K. Hanson. One
lateral applicant is in the background investigation process, and four interviews
are scheduled within the next two weeks.
5.2 Patrol
No new business was reported. There is currently one open position.
5.3 Support Staff
Call volumes have increased this year
6. Other business
The Sheriff’s Breakfast is scheduled for the 29th, and preparations are underway
for the upcoming Forest Festival
7.Adjournment
The meeting was adjourned at 5:16 P.M.
