Closed Session—RCW 42.30.140(4)Labor Discussion Commissioners Neatherlin,Tarzwell,and Trask met in closed session for labor negotiation from 9:00 a.m.to 9:30 a.m.Attendees:Travis Adams,Kim Monroe,Kayla Brinckmeyer,and Christopher Pinkston. 9:30 A.M. Prosecutor's Office—Michael Dorcy Commissioners Neatherlin,Tarzwell,and Trask were in attendance. • Michael requested one temporary Full-Time Employee(FTE)Senior Deputy Prosecutor position for four(4)months for succession planning and transitioning the appellate workload in anticipation of a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney(DPA)retirement.Approved to move forward. 9:35 A.M. Public Works—Loretta Swanson Utilities&Waste Management Commissioners Neatherlin,Tarzwell,and Trask were in attendance. • Mike Collins requested an amendment for the on-call hydraulic consultant to increase maximum expenditure to$1,000,000.00 through the end of contract which expires December 31,2027.Approved to move forward. • Richard Dickinson requested to solicit a Request for Quotes(RFQ)for two replacement membranes for the Belfair Reclamation Facility.Tabled. • Loretta provided an update on the Victor Improvement Club(VIC)lease extension and shared the next steps. 9:45 A.M. Support Services—Travis Adams Commissioners Neatherlin,Tarzwell,and Trask were in attendance. • McKenzie Smith shared a letter of interest from Connie Lovelace for the Cemetery Board Commissioner position no.3 vacancy. • Kim Monroe brought back updates to the Mason County Personnel Policy Chapter 20—Lactation Accommodation and Sanitary Construction Worksite Policy.Approved to move forward. • Travis discussed the Public Facilities Fund(.09)Grant Process and asked to extend the application deadline through the end of July.Approved to move forward. • Commissioners discussed the upcoming budget workshop and having quarterly meetings.One meeting will be a public meeting with all three Commissioners and the other meetings would be individual meetings with one Commissioner present. • Cmmr.Tarzwell discussed moving the contract purview under the Commissioner's Office.
