RE: Homeless Response System Request for Proposals
Mason County Public Health&Human Services is pleased to announce the release of two
Requests for Proposals(RFPs): one for Homeless Crisis Response System Services and another
for the Acquisition,Development, or Preservation of Affordable Housing.
The Homeless Crisis Response System RFP is funded through the Consolidated Homeless Grant
(CHG)and Local Document Recording Fees(RCW 36.22.179—.1791),which are administered by
Mason County. These funding sources support programs and services that address the immediate
needs of individuals and families experiencing homelessness while helping them obtain
and maintain stable housing.
In addition,Mason County Public Health&Human Services is seeking proposals from qualified
nonprofit or eligible organizations for projects that expand, develop, acquire, or preserve
affordable housing throughout Mason County. This funding opportunity supports community
efforts to prevent and end homelessness by increasing access to safe,stable, and healthy housing
for extremely low-income and very low-income individuals and families.
Through these investments,Mason County remains committed to strengthening its housing and
homelessness response system and improving housing stability for vulnerable residents across the
community.
