8. Approval of Action Agenda

8.1 Approval of Warrants and Treasurer Electronic Remittances
Claims Clearing Fund Warrant # 8121955-8122254 $2,008,397.26

8.2 Approval for the County Engineer to sign the contract amendment for on-call hydraulic consultant to increase
the maximum expenditure to $1,000,000 through December 31, 2027.
8.3 Approval for the Chair to sign the Pharmacy Service Agreement with Costless Senior Services, Inc. for
pharmaceutical services for the Jail from September 1, 2026 through August 31, 2028.
8.4 Approval for the Public Works Director to amend the existing on-call engineering services agreement with
Parametrix to increase the annual maximum pay-out from $200,000 to $500,000 through December 31, 2027.
8.5 Approval of the Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO) Applicant
Resolution/Authorization form for the youth athletic facilities grant.
8.6 Approval of the letter of support for the proposed Mason County Recreation Event Center and the application
for a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Business Development Grant.

8.7 Approval of the letter of support for the Hood Canal Salmon Enhancement Group’s proposed trail and
interpretive signage project at the Theler Wetlands.
8.8 Approval to appoint Jeff Bickford to the Solid Waste Advisory Committee (SWAC) for a three-year term to
serve as a Solid Waste Industry Representative.
8.9 Approval of the following Mason County Officers, Employee’s and former Employee’s, pursuant to Mason
County Ordinance 06-18, request for Defense & Indemnification coverage assigned by the County as named
defendants in the case of Joan Bayley; Philip Bayley v State of Washington, et al., cause no. 26-2-00484-23,
served upon Tim Whitehead and Michael Dorcy on June 26, 2026, via Prosecuting Attorney’s Office: Tim
Whitehead and Michael Dorcy.
8.10 Approval of the county road closure on Satsop Cloquallum Road for the culvert replacement projects at
milepost 3.01, milepost 3.52 and milepost 5.06 from August 17 through September 4, 2026, and approval of
the county road closure on Beeville Loop Road for Portman Bridge superstructure replacement at milepost
3.82 from July 20, 2026 through July 24, 2026.
