Total Value$556,740 Total Value$ 453,205
This decision is based on our finding that:
The hearing was held on 5/26/2026.
Rachelle Harris,Appellant, was present at the hearing. Patti McLean, Appraiser, and Assessor Patti
McLean were present.
The Appellant stated that she has appealed three times and was advised that changes would be made last
year. She questioned the discrepancy between the number of plumbing fixtures recorded for the subject
property and those reflected by the Assessor’s Office. She also questioned the quality rating assigned to her
property compared to the newly constructed home next door.
Additionally, the Appellant cited HVAC and flooring issues, as well as a wood deck that she believes
should not be included in the assessment. The Appellant requested that the property be assigned a quality
rating of 3.0 and that the plumbing fixture count be corrected to align with comparable homes.
The Assessor agreed to adjust the scoring of the home to 3.0, to decrement the number of plumbing fixtures
from 16 to 11, and to decrement for an enclosed covered porch that was inadvertently assessed as being part
of the subject property.
The Assessor acknowledged the errors and committed to conducting a site visit and preparing a new sketch
of the home to obtain accurate property data.
Therefore, the Board sustains the value for the land at $0.00 and overrules the improvements and sets the
new value at $453,205 for a total of $453,205 for the subject parcel.
