This decision is based on our finding that:
The hearing was held on 4/16/2026.
Lloyd & Kathleen Tuffs, Appellant, were not present at the hearing. Caleb Cowles, Appraiser, and
Assessor Patti McLean were present.
The Appellant stated that they have severe health problems, her gardens are not tended, and there are many
repairs that have not been made. She also stated that the interior has not been updated since the 1970’s.
The Assessor provided four comparable sales which support the subject parcel’s value.
The Board found no clear, cogent, or convincing evidence that the Assessor was in error.
Therefore, the Board sustains the value for the land at $37,365 and improvements at $225,950 for a total of
$263,315 for the subject parcel.
