Emergency Shut-off Switch: All fuel dispensing devices shall be connected to a clearly / identified emergency shut-off device located not less than 20' nor more than 100' from the fuel dispensing devices being served. NFPA-30A 6.7 2. Protection from Vehicles: Guard posts (bollards) as specified in IFC section 312 or other approved means shall be provided to protected dispensers and piping from impact from vehicular traffic. IFC 5703.6.4, NFPA-30A 6.3.4 3. Dispenser Shut-off Valve: A listed, rigidly anchored double poppet emergency shut-off valve incorporating a fusible link designed to close in the event of fire or impact shall be installed in the supply line at the base of each dispenser. NFPA-30A 6.3.9 4. Under Dispenser Containment Sumps: Under-dispenser containment meeting the compatibility requirements of WAC173-360A-350 shall be installed under each dispenser replaced by this project. Said sumps shall be liquid tight and allow for a visual inspection of the system components. WAG 173-360A-0310(6) 5. Hydrostatic Test of Piping: Before being covered or enclosed, any piping installed as part of this project shall be hydrostatically tested to 150% of the normal operating pressure (or pneumatically 110%) for not less than 10 minutes and witnessed by this office. IFC 5703.6.3 6.
