CONDITIONS
* All other necessary permits from Mason County, Washington State, Federal Agencies, and/or other agencies/groups that
are required for this proposed development and construction must be obtained PRIOR TO DEVELOPMENT AND
CONSTRUCTION.
An excavator or bulldozer with an approved fire extinguisher shall be on site for the duration of burning. It shall also be on-
site at the time of the inspection unless approved ahead of time by Community Development staff.
* Each pile must be at least one hundred(100)feet from any structure and at lease fifty(50)feet from standing timber.

* Only materials originating from the site can be burned(transporting materials from another site is prohibited).

* Bum site must be accessible using a 2-wheel drive vehicle or the road improved until this is achieved.

* Fire smoke must not create a nuisance,obscure visibility on roads and highways, or endanger life and property.

* Only natural vegetative matter can be burned. BURNING ANY OTHER MATERIALS ARE PROHIBITED.
* Once the fire is lit, a responsible adult, capable of operating the above equipment,shall remain on-site for the entire
duration of the bum to provide a 24-hour fire watch. NO EXCEPTIONS.

* Pile cannot exceed twenty(20)feet in diameter and shall have a ten (10)foot firebreak(to soil)around each.

* If a bum ban is enacted any valid permit will be deemed null and void and any fires extinguished immediately.
* Once cleared to bum, permittee shall make the required phone notifications as specified on the permit.
* If more than two inspections are required, additional inspection fees will be applicable.
* Once all of the above conditions have been met, you may contact Community Development at 360-427-9670 ext. 262 to
schedule your inspection before burning.
" For burning from April 15th to Oct. 15th, a tanker truck or trailer with 300 gallons of water with at least 200 ft of one inch
hose capable of delivering 20 gallons per minute at the nozzle shall be on site for the duration of the burning and at the time
of inspection unless approved ahead of time by Community Development Staff.
* Fire must be completely extinguished within three(3)days (72 hours) after ignition.
* A fan capable of stoking the fire to promote complete combustion shall be provided and be present at the time of the
inspection.

specified herein or not. The granting of a permit does not presume to give authority to violate or cancel
the provisions of any other state/local law regulating cons ruction or the performance of construction.
