COMMISSIONERS RESOLUTION NO. 73-82
COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO. 980
WHEREAS, on Mason County Road No. 8587, known locally as the Larson
Lake Road, and more specifically located in Section 31, Township 23 North,
Range 1 West, W.M., beginning at M.P. 0.50 and continuing north to the
south boundary of Beards Cove to the dedicated right-of-way designated as
County Road Number 8925, Larson Lake Drive; work defined as "construction"
in the BARS Manual, Page II-63, et seq, is determined to be necessary and
proper, and
WHEREAS, this project is identified as No. 17 on the officially adopted
County Annual Road Program.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS that it
is their intention to extend Larson Lake Road (Co. Rd. No. 8587), approxi-
mately nine -hundred feet (900') in length and sixty -feet (60') in width,
and that said work is to be performed by day labor in accordance with the
Washington State Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction as
adopted by Mason County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above described County Road Project is
necessary and proper, and the estimated costs of said project are herewith
set out as follows:
Road Construction:
Preparation and 2 shots B.S.T.: $4,000.00
Engineer's Estimate in detail is on file in the office of the County Engineer.
The County Road Project herein described is HEREBY DECLARED to be a public
necessity, and the County Road Engineer is HEREBY ORDERED AND AUTHORIZED to
report and proceed thereon as by law, provided, and in accordance with WAC
136-18.
ADOPTED this 30th day of August 1982.
