Extension of Larson Lake Road County Road No. 8587
WHEREAS, on August 9th , 1982, the Board of County Commissioners
did pass and approve a Resolution of Intention to Establish as a County Main-
tained Road that portion of an existing road lying between Larson Lake Road,
County Road Number 8587, at Mile Post 0.50, and the dedicated right-of-way
designated as County Road Number 8925, Larson Lake Drive, located within the
Plat of Beards Cove, Division 8; said road being approximately 900 Lineal Feet,
and is located in Section 31, Township 23 North, Range 1 West, W.M., and more
particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of the Northeast Quarter (NE4)
of Government Lot 2, Section 31, Township 23 North, Range 1 West,
W.M.; proceed NO°5'20"E a distance of 128.72 feet to a point on
the centerline of the Larson Lake Road which is the initial point
of this description; thence along the centerline of said road
N66°44'33"E a distance of 12.26 feet to the beginning of a 12° curve
to the left, having a radius of 477.47 feet and a central angle of
23°48'38"; thence along the arc of said curve a distance of 198.42
feet; thence N42°54'55"E a distance of 122.58 feet to the beginning
of a 8° curve to the left, having a radius of 716.20 feet and a
central angle of 24°55'55"; thence along the arc of said curve a
distance of 311.65 feet; thence N17°59'00"E a distance of 101.84
feet to the beginning of a 10° curve to the right, having a radius
of 572.96 feet and a central angle of 23°44'00"; thence along the
arc of said curve a distance of 92.67 feet to a point on the center-
line of the Larson Lake Road where it intersects with the southerly
boundary of the Plat of Beards Cove, Division Eight, and is the
termini of this description.
WHEREAS, after due Notice and Public Hearing, pursuant to law, and after
careful consideration and study of the report submitted by the Mason County
Engineer, finds that the establishment is a public necessity and practicable;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Board of Mason County Commis-
sioners, that the road, as referenced above, be established as a part of the
Mason County Road System, and the Mason County Engineer be directed to proceed
with said establishment.
