A RESOLUTION DEDICATING CERTAIN PROPERTY OWNED BY MASON
COUNTY FOR USE AS A PARK.
WHEREAS the residents of Hoodsport and the surrounding
area have indicated a strong desire for a county park in that
area and,
WHEREAS Mason County has title to an 80 acre tract in the
Hoodsport area which is undeveloped except for that portion
being used as a solid waste transfer station, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED that the following property, to -wit: the
North 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 10, Township 22
North, Range 4 East, Willamette Meridian, County of Mason,
State of Washington, except that portion currently used by
Mason County as a solid waste transfer station is hereby
dedicated as a park and upon its completed development, said
park shall be under the direction and control of the Mason
County Parks and Recreation Department; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the timber and forest products
on said dedicated property may be used for development of park
facilities.
