BUDGET TRANSFER - ELECTION DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, a request has been received from the Mason
County Election Department for a transfer of funds; and
WHEREAS, there are funds available within the Election
Department Budget to accommodate said transfer; and
WHEREAS, the request appears to be reasonable and
necessary;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Board of
Mason County Commissioners that the following amounts be
transferred:
$1,332.00 from the Holding Fund
(301-00)
to: Capital Outlay Line Item 109 (514-32-60)
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mason County Auditor be
authorized to make the necessary transfer entries on the
ledger cards affecting the Election Department Budget.
ADOPTED this 6th day of July, 1982.

14.08.190 Section 301(b) Amended - Permits
a) Section 301(b)(1) is to read as follows:
1. One-story detached accessory buildings used as tool
sheds, playhouses and similar uses_ [;-previded-the-prejeeted
reef-area-deer-Ret-exeeed-120-seruare-feet7]
b) The following subsections are added to Section 301(b):
13. Re -roofing of single Family residences, except when
re -roofing structures with two or more existing layers of roof
covering.
14. Detached (free standing) carports and garages
constituting group M-1 occupancies.
15. Agricultural buildings as defined in Section 402,
PROVIDED that in no event should fruit or vegetables or crops of
the tree or vine stored in such buildings constitute combustible
stock for the purposes of the Uniform Fire Code and PROVIDED
further that such buildings be set back 50 feet from any adjacent
residential structures and 50 feet from any property line.
16. Demolition of any private structure, except when
explosives are used in such demolition.
14 08.200 Section 3203(d)(3)(H) Amended - Shake Felt

a) Section 320(d)(3)(H) is to read as follows:
H. Wood shakes. Shakes may be applied to roofs with solid
or spaced sheathing. In wind -driven -snow areas sheathing shall
be solid and the shakes shall be applied over an underlayment of
not less than Type 15 felt.
Shakes shall be laid with a side lap of not less than 11/2
inches between joints in adjacent courses. Spacing between shakes
shall be not less than 3/8 inch nor more than 5/8 inch.
Shakes shall be fastened to the sheathing with two nails
only, positioned approximately 1 inch from each edge and
approximately 2 inches above the exposure line. The starter
course at the eaves shall be doubled. The bottom or first layer
may be either shakes or shingles.
