WHEREAS, certain requirements of the Uniform Building
Code, which has been adopted with certain amendments as the
Mason County Building Code are unduly restrictive and burdensome;
and,
WHEREAS, following public hearing, motions were passed
exempting certain construction from the permit requirements of
the Mason County Building Code; and,
WHEREAS, it appears such motions are reasonable and
necessary and authorized by RCW 19.27.040,
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that Chapter 14.08 of the Mason County
Code (Building Code Amendments) is hereby amended by adding the
following sections 14.08.190 and 14.08.200 attached hereto.

Weather exposures shall not exceed those set forth in
Table No. 32-A. Hip and ridge weather exposures shall not
exceed those permitted for the field of the roof.
