RESOLUTION NO. 35-82
AUTHORIZATION FOR PAYMENT OF UNCLAIMED PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the sum of $10.00 having been paid into the registry of
the Clerk by Byron E. McClanahan, as a cash bond in Probate Cause ##2805
on June 1, 1956, and
WHEREAS, Byron E. McClanahan was aware this money was being held
in the registry of the Clerk until 1975, when at the request of Byron
E. McClanahan, the Mason County Clerk transferred said sum of $10.00
to the County Current Expense Fund, and
WHEREAS, said $10.00 was reported to the Department of Revenue on
December. 21, 1981 as unclaimed property by the Mason County Clerk in
accordance with the Judgment entered in Kitsap Co. Cause #81-2-00377-8,
and
WHEREAS, Byron E. McClanahan is now claiming his right to the
return of this unclaimed property,
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Mason County
Commissioners that the Mason County Treasurer issue a remittance from
Current Expense in the sum of $10.00, payable to Byron E. McClanahan,
as his portion of unclaimed property reported to Department of Revenue
on December 21, 1981.
ADOPTED this 19th day of April 1982.
