RESOLUTION NO. 17 -82
A RESOLUTION of the Board of County Commissioners
of Mason County, Washington, fixing the date, time
and place for a public hearing on the final assess-
ment rolls of Road Improvement Districts Nos. 2 and
3.
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 2081,-adopted on March 30,
1981, the Board of County Commissioners of Mason County, Washington,
created Road Improvement District No. 2 and ordered the improvement
of the existing private road known as Riverhill Drive, beginning at
the access to County Road No. 8728 (Newkirk Road) and extending a
length of 0.10 miles within that district; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 21-81, adopted on March 30,
1981, the Board of County Commissioners of Mason County, Washington,
created Road Improvement District No. 3 and ordered the improvement
of the existing private -road known as Riverhill Drive, beginning
0.10 miles from the access to County Road No. 8728 (Newkirk Road)
and extending a length of 0.30 miles within that district; and
WHEREAS, there has been prepared the final assessment rolls
for Road Improvement Districts Nos. 2 and 3 and such final assessment
rolls have been filed with Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners,
and pursuant to the provisions of RCW 36.88.090 it is necessary to
fix the date, time and place of public hearings on the assessment
rolls and to give notice of the filing of such rolls and of such
public hearings; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MASON COUNTY, WASHINGTON, as follows:
Section 1. A public hearing on the final assessment roll
of Road Improvement District No. 2 shall be held before the Board of
County Commissioners (the "Board") of Mason County, Washington
(the "County") , at
2:00 P.m., local time, on March 8th,
1982, in
the Cemissioners' Chambers , Mason County Courthouse, 4th & Alder,
Shelton, Washington.
Section 2. A public hearing on the final assessment roll
of Road Improvement District Noe 3 shall be held before the Board of
County Commissioners (the "Board") of Mason County, Washington
(the "County") , at

Section 3. The Clerk of the Board is authorized and
directed to cause to be published at least two times in a newspaper
of general circulation in the County if the newspaper is published
weekly or at least five times in such newspaper if it is published
daily, the last publication to be at least fifteen days prior to the
hearing date, a separate notice for each roll stating that the rolls
are on file and open to inspection in her office and stating the
time when the public hearings will be held on such assessment rolls
before the Board on the protests filed and advising the property
owners that protestsmust be filed with the Clerk of the Board
against any assessments shown on the rolls at or prior to the time
of the public hearings. Similar notices shall be mailed to the
owners or reputed owners of the property within Road Improvement
Districts Nos. 2 and 3, at the addresses of such owners as shown on
the tax rolls of the County Treasurer, such notices to be mailed at
least fifteen days before the hearing date.
