Edward Thomson Parcel Number(s): 32232-50-90001 Assessment Year: 2025 Petition Number: 57.2026 Date(s) of Hearing: 2/17/2026 Having considered the evidence presented by the parties in this appeal, the Board hereby: sustains overrules the determination of the assessor. Assessor’s True and Fair Value BOE True and Fair Value Determination Land$ 90,740 Land $ 90,740 Improvements$ 87,580 Improvements $ 6,310 Minerals$ Minerals $ Personal Property $ Personal Property $ Total Value$ 178,320 Total Value$ 157,050 This decision is based on our finding that: The hearing was held on 2/17/2026. R.Edward Thomson, Appellant, was present at the hearing. Elizabeth Zigler, Appraiser, and Assessor Patti McLean were present. The Appellant stated that his buildings/improvements on the property are not finished and that the majority of the building does not have utilities. He further stated that his siding materials are T1-11 and one portion of the building’s exterior cover over the back gable is hardware cloth, and that one of his door openings is blocked with plywood. The Assessor stated that the buildings/improvement have been added back to the property due to an administrative error. Substantial portions of the building remain unfinished; therefore, the Board feels it is valued too high. Therefore, the Board sustains the value for the land at $90,740 and overrules the value of the improvements, setting the new value at $66,310, for a new total of $157,050 for the subject parcel.
