Board of Equalization
Property Owner:Trenton Murray
Parcel Number(s): 22201-56-00006
Assessment Year:2025 Petition Number: 61.2026
Date(s) of Hearing: 2/17/2026
Having considered the evidence presented by the parties in this appeal, the Board hereby:
sustains overrules the determination of the assessor.
Assessor’s True and Fair Value BOE True and Fair Value Determination
Land $ 89,280 Land $ 89,280
Improvements$ 536,985 Improvements$ 536,985
Minerals $ Minerals $
Personal Property$ Personal Property $
Total Value $ 626,265 Total Value $ 626,265
This decision is based on our finding that:
The hearing was held on 2/17/2026.
Trenton Murray, Appellant, was present at the hearing. Elizabeth Zigler, Appraiser, and Assessor Patti
McLean were present.
The Appellant presented seven comparables; only one was from the proper assessment year. He feels that
his obstructed, limited view was not taken into sufficient consideration, and he felt that the comparable sales
that he found for 2025 would result in a lower assessment.
The Assessor explained that Appellant used comparable sales outside of the assessment period. The
Appellant’s comparable sales will be valid for next tax year.
The Board found no clear, cogent, or convincing evidence that the Assessor was in error.
Therefore, the Board sustains the value for the land at $89,280 and improvements at $536,985 for a total of
$626,265 for the subject parcel.
