Street SE #C-46 Everett, Wa. 9,8204 Re: Sewage discharged to ground surface Tract 12 & 639AA Arcadia Dear Mr. Long: It thas been 30 days since you received our letter telling you, that you are in violation of Article VII, Section 10.1 of the Mason County Sanitary Code.for discharge of raw sewage to the ground-surface. Our letter of April 6th, 1982, requested that you correct this discharge of sewage within 30 days. A further investigation reveals that this has not been completed within the 30 day period. We did receive your letter of April 15, 1982, stating that F. A. Hughes Construction Company would obtain the appropriate applications for the per- mits and make the necessary repairs. Since your letter, this office has not received the applications for repair from Mr. Hughes or any one else. At this time, Mr. Hughes is not a licensed sewage contractor in Mason County .and cannot perform the work. He may obtain the permits for you but cannot do any work'until he is licensed. You are now requested to correct this situation within 14 days of receipt of this letter. Failure to correct with- in that time period, will result in the matter being turned over to the County Prosecutor's Office. You may make the correction by: • 1) Installing or plumbing into an approved sewage disposal system. 2) Vacating the premises. 3) You may appeal this decision. A letter sent to this office outlining the grounds for appeal is necessary. Only the Board of Health may grant an appeal. All appeals must be made within 14 days of this decision. If you -have any questions, please call me at 426-5561. Sincerely, John Bu'I er, M. :. Co ty th Of cer , R. .
