RE: Mason County Seeking Volunteers for Solid Waste Advisory Committee
Mason County is currently seeking volunteers to serve on the Solid Waste Advisory
Committee (SWAC), which advises on solid and special waste management policies,
including disposal options, recycling, hazardous waste, composting, and waste reduction.
The SWAC is composed of at least nine members, appointed by the Mason County Board
of Commissioners. Members serve three-year terms and participate in monthly meetings.
Current vacancies:
• Commissioner District 1 Representative
• Commissioner District 2 Representative
• Public Group Representative

https/masoncountywa.gov. Look for "Advisory Boards" under the Government tab.
Applications will be accepted until all positions are filled.
