Meeting Minutes
Thursday, April 17, 2025
The regular meeting was called to order at 5:02 p.m. by Chairperson Mark Nault.
Attendance:
Commissioners present: Mark Nault and Eric Gough
Commissioner absent: Mel Ferrier
Others present: Tami Beyer, Mary Ransier, Meghan Andrews, Tenielle Masteller
1. Approval of Minutes
Commissioners Nault and Gough moved and seconded to approve the February
and March 2025 regular meeting minutes.
Motion carried.
2. Appeal Review
M. Bradshaw Appeal – The Commission reviewed the appeal regarding the removal of
M. Bradshaw’s name from the MCSO Lateral Sheriff Deputy Eligibility List.
Commissioners Nault and Gough agreed that additional information and applicable
policy documentation are required before making a decision.
Action:This item will be continued to the next regular meeting or a special meeting, if
needed.
3. Open Forum for Citizen Input
There was no public comment.
4. Chief Examiner Update
4.1 Position Tracking
There are currently 14 funded vacant positions:
3Deputy Sheriffs
7Corrections Deputies
2Support Specialists
2Community Service Officers
5. Sheriff’s Office Update – Chief Beyer
5.1 Corrections
Operations are status quo; the division is ready for an updated eligibility list.
5.2 Patrol
Two deputies are in the academy
Two are in Field Training (FTO)
One has been recently hired
5.3 Support Staff
Two staff members are currently in training
One candidate is in the backgrounding process
6. Adjournment
The meeting was adjourned at 5:12 p.m.
