It has come to the attention of the Mason County Department of Health Services
(MCDHS)that your old unpermitted landfill location has not been recorded with the
County Auditor's office as required . Washington Administrative
Code(WAC) 173-304-405 (6) states, in part,that"Maps and a statement of fact
concerning the location of the disposal site shall be recorded as part of the deed with the
county auditor not later than three months after closure."The MCDHS has determined
that since this information was not recorded as required;and since the MCDHS did not
insure that this requirement was fulfilled; the MCDHS will cause this information to be
recorded per the aforementioned requirements. The information contained herein is
derived from the file maintained by the MCDHS solid and hazardous waste program.

Location of disposal site:
The site is located on Bloomfield Rd as you are heading South just past Dahman rd on
the right. The fill is reported to be"burned, spread and covered in several places"
throughout the property. Materials buried and burned that have been documented include
but are not limited to are: plastic,household garbage, a fiberglass boat, tires and
construction debris. The extent of the landfilling is unknown and the parcel is being
recorded as a notice to potential buyers as well as for informational purposes for the
record. It is recommended that a record request be made to view the parcel file,which
contains further information and photographs.

information was derived from information contained within the MCPH file in the solid
and hazardous waste program and in the parcel file for the property.
