RESOLUTION OF INTENT TO GRANT FRANCHISE AND
NOTTCE OF HEARING
WHEREAS, the Board of Mason County Commissioners intends to
grant a franchise for the purpose of providing cable television
service to areas within Mason County; and
WHEREAS, the Commissioners have received an application to
provide cable television service by Country Cable of Mason County,
residing at Sherwood Creek Road, Allyn, WA (PO Box 58); and
WHEREAS, Country Cable of Mason County has proposed cable
television service to the following areas of Mason County;
Township 21 North, Range 1 West, Range 2 West, Range 3 West;
Township 22 North, Range 1 West, Range 2 West, Range 3 West;
Township 23 North, Range 1 West, Range 2 West, Range 3 West
WHEREAS, the franchise for cable television service sets
forth provisions for a minimum number of viewing channels, plus
additional terms and conditions; and
WHEREAS, the Resolution Granting Franchise is available in the
Office of the County Auditor for review;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Mason County Board
of Commissioners that a call for public hearing is issued and is
scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 1, 1982, for the
purpose of the citizens of Mason County to appear before the Board
to express their interest in, or objections to, the granting of
a franchise to CountryCable of Mason County. The public hearing
is to be held in the Commissioners' Chambers in the Mason County
Courthouse.
