ECLER ROAD
County Road No. 52370
WHEREAS, the State Department of Transportation has turned over to Mason
County a portion of Old State Highway S.R. 3, located in the SE4 of Section
35, Township 21 North, Range 3 West, W.M., as per attached State Highway map
and has become a County road by action of law; and,
WHEREAS, the speed limits on County roads in Mason County, Washington, were
fixed by Resolution on April 20, 1981, as 50 miles per hour, except certain roads
as otherwise posted; and,
WHEREAS, Mason County needs to name this road which runs through a portion
of donation land, Claim Number 38, obtained by Jacob 0. Ecler; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved and ordered, the speed limit shall be established
at 25 M.P.H. for the total length of this road (0.28 miles) and that the name of
this road shall be the Ecler Road, County Road No. 52370; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED AND ORDERED, that the County Engineer
is directed to notify the State of Washington, Department of Transportation to
properly install a 25 M.P.H. speed limit on the Ecler Road and that the Department
of Transportation erect an Ecler Road name sign on the State Highway, all in con-
formance with prior agreements between Mason County and the State of Washington,
Department of Transportation.
