Allan Borden - Site inspection for 200 NE Hilltop Pl, Tahuya, WA

Subject: Site inspection for 200 NE Hilltop Pl, Tahuya, WA
Hi Allan, T-A0`5 7 3
I applied for a pre-planning inspection on Monday and
was told that you would contact me regarding the site
visit so that I can attend that with you. I will be on jury
duty 12/21 - 12/31 and would like to set up a time for
the inspection the first week of January (any day but
Tuesday the 5th).
In the meantime, could you answer a few questions
regarding the foundation? There is an existing cabin
structure that was built in the 70's on concrete pier
blocks (surface set, not attached to the ground, with
about a 13" clearance between the ground and the
floor joists). It is a one room 16x20 building and has a
sink that drains to the ground, a shower that drains to
the ground is in the small shed, as well as a homemade
composting toiler. Should we purchase this, we would
put in a proper septic.

If we were to add a bathroom (toilet Et shower) to the
existing structure, would we be required to raise the
height of the foundation?
Would we need to install a foundation that is attached
to the ground if we added a bathroom to the existing
structure?
Could a new foundation for the existing structure be
poured concrete post and pier or would it need to be a
stemwall?
If we were to add on to the existing building (sideways)
and place the plumbing in the new construction area
would we need to change the foundation on the
existing structure?
Would we be allowed to install a second toilet in the
small shed (which we would relocate) if we also had a
toilet in the cabin?
