Dear Ms. Berube,
On 11/09/99 you where sent a letter to inform you of a certain
violation and a time frame in which to take care of the issues .
Our records show that no application has been received or on file
and no further contact has been made indicating cooperation with
this department .
Per Mason County Ordinance No. 45-99 section 14 . 12 . 030 :
Violation and Penalties :
Any person, firm corporation violating any provision of
this Code shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon
conviction thereof, shall be punishable by a fine of not to
exceed $500 . 00 or by imprisonment in the Mason County Jail
for nor to exceed 3 months, of both fine and imprisonment .
Each separate day or any portion thereof during which any
portion thereof during which any violation of this Code
occurs or continues shall be deeded to constitute a separate
offense, and upon conviction shall be punishable as herein
provide. The issuance or granting of a permit or approval
of plans and specifications shall not be deemed or construed
to be a permit for, or approval of, any violation of any of
the provisions of this Code. No permit presuming to give
authority to violate or cancel the provisions of this Code
shall be valid, except insofar as the work or use which it
authorized is lawful .

Dear Ms . Berube,
Our office received referral of a partially demolished
structure at the above parcels . It ' s a violation of the U.B.C. and
Abatement code to maintain or allow this structure to remain in its
present condition as it presents a hazard and is considered a
dangerous building. Enclosed is a demo application fill out
application and commence demo prior to November 30, 1999 .

our authority to require compliance, or to notify me of your intent
