This decision is based on our finding that:
The hearing was held on Thursday, February 6, 2025.
Mark & Jessie Prock, Appellants, were not present at the hearing. IdaMae Jensen, Assessor’s
Representative, and Assessor Patti McLean were present.
The Appellants’ petition was read into the record. The house needs considerable repair and has had no
improvements since the home was purchased.
The Assessor pointed out that the assessed value was erroneously listed at $337,230, from the 2023
assessment year. The actual value under appeal is $245,765, which is the 2024 assessment year. The
Appellant’s estimate of value of $232,865 and the Assessor’s value under appeal has a difference of 0.947%
in value.
The Board found no clear, cogent, or convincing evidence that the Assessor was in error.
Therefore, the Board sustains the value for the land at $44,830 and improvements at $200,935 for a total of
$337,230 for the subject parcel.
