[help] The vegetation on the site consists of mainly red alder, big leaf maple, and cottonwood, as well as understory plants including salmonberry and buttercup. The creek that leaves the property provides fish habitat and is well shaded by an established overstory. The site is a graveled parking lot with a vault toilet. The area that drains through the culvert to be replaced is a possible high water refuge for juvenile salmonids. 5m. Describe how the property is currently used. [_help] The property provides public access to Haven Lake with a primitive gravel boat launch. There is ample parking for passenger cars and trailers and an ADA vault toilet available on-site. 5n. Describe how the adjacent properties are currently used. hei Adjacent properties consist of private home sites and undeveloped lots. The properties to the east are undeveloped. The lake has many homes with floats and there is a dam at the southwest portion of the lake. 50. Describe the structures (above and below ground) on the property, including their purpose(s) and current condition. Lheip] This site has a gravel boat ramp, established gravel parking area, and a vault toilet. The culvert that currently is under the road is 18" in diameter and the underside is rusting out. There is a dam on the site and the stop logs can be placed and removed as necessary to maintain water levels in the lake and the creek. The dam can alter the habitat in the stream, drying it up if too many stop logs are left in during periods of low precipitation. 5p. Larger rocks (see plans for rock specifications) will be placed at each end as a gravel pad, extending 8 feet from the end of the culvert. The same sized rock will be used to install rock bands within the culvert to hold smaller gravels in place. Streambed gravels will be sourced from local quarries when possible to match upstream material. 8g.
