Re: Permits and Fees
Mr. Duggins,
When you were in the office, there was some confusion on what permits, reviews and fees to collect.
After speaking with the planner, it has been determined that you do not need a Shoreline Exemption
(SHX2009-00003).
The planner has stated you will need a Mason Environmental Permit (MEP2009-00002) which you
have applied for. The fee collected was $380.00. This price was discounted, based on other applications
for additional permits/reviews. Because there is no need for the Shoreline Exemption, there is no
discount for the additional permits. This increases your fee to $630.00.
I have taken the fee collected for the Shoreline Exemption ($255)and credited it to the Mason
Environmental Permit. This left you with a credit of$5.00. The planning department will be sending
you a letter, stating that you also need a Habitat Management Plan. The review fee for this plan is
$445,00.
With the $5.00 credit you now have a balance due of$440.00. Additionally you will need to hire a
biologist to complete a Habitat Management Plan.
I have enclosed a new receipt, to show the correct credited amounts. Please replace the original receipt
as it has been voided. I have also included a list of biologists that can help with the Habitat
Management Plan.
