" Proper erosion and sediment control practices must be used on the construction site and adjacent areas to prevent upland sediments from entering the aquatic environment. Erosion control measures must be in place prior to any clearing, grading, or construction. These control measures must be effective to prevent soil from being carried into surface water by stormwater runoff.Any discharge of sediment-laden runoff or other pollutants to waters of the state is in violation of state regulations.Any work in or adjacent to waterways that will adversely affect water quality must receive specific prior authorization from the Department of Ecology. " The Washington State Clean Air Act prohibits the burning of any construction or demolition debris in an outdoor fire. " All construction debris must be removed from the site after project completion to an approved location. Proper disposal of construction debris must be on land in such a manner that debris cannot enter or cause water quality degradation of aquatic environments.
