RE:Danger Tree Removal on PN 22007-51-00026,Timberlakes.
Dear Patty,
In order to extend the Mason Environmental Permit,#MEP2015-00037,that was issued
in 2015 for the removal of the trees within the shoreline buffer,we will need you to
update the application with the following information please. The permit's expiration
date was 10/5/17. This can be extended to 10/5/2020 ifwe receive the necessary
information below:
1) The MEP application and the Replanting Plan that you submitted at the time does
not show the tree(s)that you propose,to remove from the shoreline buffer on the
Site Plan. Please show the location, species and number of trees that are along the
lake shore's buffer that are being proposed for removal as Danger Trees on the
Site Plan.
2) The Replanting Plan does not include any similar native conifer tree species. The
ordinance requires that similar native trees, at least three feet tall,be replanted
within the buffer and maintained to provide buffer habitat along the lake shore.
I have enclosed a copy of the Mason Environmental Permit with your site plan. I also
included the sketch I made of native trees while on site in 2015 to assist you with your
Site Plan. Once I receive the information for review,I will be able to extend.the permit
and send you a copy. Thank you.

Section 4, pg. 70 says permit with no mention of mitigation e pg 71 (you mentioned it). Section 5 pg.70 says
letter and mitigation e pg.71 with no mention of permit. No permit with forester letter right and no letter with
permit.In other words it is either one or the other(forester letter or ermit).

Sorry, you don't how hard it was to figure out how to get photos from my camera to my computer and then
from my computer into my email. The photos were taken after being removed.The photo with the shore and
neighbors bricks, I think has the R.R. tie but you can't see it. My son took the photo a didn't have my glasses to
figure out how to use my camera) and he didn't know what I wanted him to focus on.You can see the
hammock on the tree which is still there and shows that it is the property and some photos show the
neighbors little fence along with R.R.ties.In addition, the Timberlake representative that reviewed the project I
heard liked the ties being removed.

transplant there and one Vine maple I know is over 3 years old.
On the R.R.tie bulk head, it was deteriorating and creosoted and was there prior to both neighbors
bulkhead. I still have them and could easily be placed back in.I also took photo's and have witnesses
of them.I have seen them throughout the county and one property is pending right now with Jeff
Conklin on Phillip lake.
The tree cutter's name is Cody Morris.I think I told you Marcus, Marcus is a septic guy I am dealing
with in Olympia. Sorry, my head is spinning right now absorbing what you told me and not sure if I
got it all right.

That would be great.I need to apologize for my bad letter writing capabilities and need to correct
the record that my neighbor is around 2 to 3 feet from the property line.We (My husband and I)
go out there regularly and each time it looks different to both of us even though nothing has
changed.

I wanted to meet with you on my proposed setbacks and tree removal.I know the county's
recent position on tree removal on lake front.I looked at a parcel on Spencer lake a year ago
that did not work out and spoke with Mrs. Bang (the neighbor) and your conversation with her.
I then later worked with Windermere on an acquisition on Mason Lake and they were not
understanding my request that I would pay that price, if the owners removed the trees on that
lot.In addition,I was told by the trailer demolition guy, that I had to set back my proposed
building site in comparison to the neighbor, the neighbor that is only one foot or less from the
property line.
I want to start on building plans to start building, but can not until these issues are not
resolved.

I won't email you again unless I do not understand,there are 6 trees to cut down how many trees do I need to plant of course
with other plants,verification purposes only,the conservation district asked and I answered feeling a question in my head.I
thought 6 trees with plants.My experience is vine maple is it is as big as mock orange.Is one a tree and one not?Or will they
both pass as trees?I called Sound native plants they have everything I want.I called Timberlakes they are on board as long as
county signs off with documentation.My brother has a A.A.in horticulture and will refine what I plan.Cool.I am excited.
Time frame we'll talk about later.

The letter can either be from a "forester"or an "arborist". That language came from ordinance that I gave you
yesterday.

That would be great.I need to apologize for my bad letter writing capabilities and need to correct the record
that my neighbor is around 2 to 3 feet from the property line. We (My husband and I) go out there regularly
and each time it looks different to both of us even though nothing has changed.

Hi Grace,
I wanted to meet with you on my proposed setbacks and tree removal.I know the county's recent
position on tree removal on lake front.I looked at a parcel on Spencer lake a year ago that did not work
out and spoke with Mrs. Bang (the neighbor) and your conversation with her.I then later worked with
Windermere on an acquisition on Mason Lake and they were not understanding my request that I would
pay that price, if the owners removed the trees on that lot.In addition,I was told by the trailer demolition
guy, that I had to set back my proposed building site in comparison to the neighbor,the neighbor that is
only one foot or less from the property line.
I want to start on building plans to start building, but can not until these issues are not resolved.
