SHR2003-00013 NOTICE OF SHORELINE MANAGEMENT PERMIT
Notice is hereby given that GORDON KAUHANEN, who is the owner of the described property,
has filed an application for a Shoreline Management Permit for the development of:

desiring to express their view or to be notified of the action taken on the application should notify:

in writing of their interest within 30 days of the final date of publication given pursuant to WAC

date and time of hearing.
A Determination of Nonsignificance was issued on 11/20/2003 under WAC 197-11-340. Written
comments regarding this determination must be received by 12/4/2003.

The referenced Shoreline Management Substantial Development Permit has been filed with this office by
Mason County on February 27, 2004. This permit authorizes residential pier,ramp and float with a
maximum length of 100-feet on Hood Canal
The development authorized by the subject permit may NOT begin until the end of the 21-day appeal
period, March 19,2004.The Shorelines Hearings Board(SHB)will notify you by letter if this permit is
appealed. You can reach the SHB directly at(360)459-6327. Other federal, state, and local permits may
be required in addition to the shoreline permit.
If this permit is NOT appealed,this letter constitutes the Department of Ecology's final notification of
