AVDS01201 Randy Collins From: Randy Collins Sent: Tuesday, March 11, 2025 12:28 PM To: 'Justin Leech' Cc: Drew Carlson Subject: Ace Hoodsport Fire Alarm Follow-up Permit 2025-00003 Justin, When I returned to the office, I applied Table 17.6.3.5.1 to the retail space with the 16'-6"ceiling and came up with following: • The plans show the space is 52' tong by 20'wide • With a 16'-6"ceiling,the detector spacing is multiplied by.71. • Given normal spacing of 30'x 30',that would reduce the required spacing to 21'-3" • Given the width is 20 feet, spacing for that dimension is adequate • Given the length of the room is 52 feet and there are 3 detectors present, spacing for that dimension is also adequate. To that end,the only remaining items on the punch list: • Providing"As-Builts"that reflect the current floor plan for the office area at the east end of the retail space as well as the reduced detectors in the attic spaces • Installing a permanent"FACP Inside"sign on the door to the electrical room where the panel is. Once you send me the plans and a picture of the FACP sign, I will sign off on the permit. Questions, let me know. Randy Collins Fire Marshal Mason County 360 427-9670 x309 360 490-0167 Cell 1
