Tips for construction:
3/8"x3-1/2"lags combined washers
@Build the float dock upside down before finally flipping over and adding decking 3/8"(on top) and
@ k-1/2"(on bottom) 6 per log
Start by building the 2x4 framework on a flat surface using at least 2 to 3
16d galvanized nails at each connection. Make sure corners are square-
Once 2x4 frame is built,put 3 pieces of decking underneath the frame as shown-
Add the 200 rim boards to the outside of the 2x4 frame by nailing into the 2x4 frames with 16d galvanized nails. Also nail
through the 200's into the opposing 2x10 rim. Add the 2x4-93"girder under the 2x4-114"joists
Attach the A 23strongtie comer metals into 200 rim boards with nails provided in kit
Do not bend the A23's but fit them in the comers under the 2x4 floor joists
Predfifl with 1/8"drill bit M's and use lags and washers in detail®to mount all floats.
Make sure float vent plugs are installed.
