RE: SHR97-0033: Boathouse for Randy and Edna Crawford
Dear Mr. Borden,
As per our conversation today, we wish to move the location of our original
proposed boathouse from the East property line to our West property building line.
Illuminate the need for a variance by moving the structure back away from the
shoreline so as to be in line with all other development.
Except for having to increase it's length two feet, all dimensions and construction
materials remain the same. Excavation of soil is decreased to less than 60 yards.
That soil will be stored on site and used to bury most of the structure and level
back to grade after construction.
A temporary silt filtration fence will be in place between construction and the lake,
The floor of structure will be one foot above the lake high water line.
At this time we are not planning a marine rail on land or in the water. It appears
with primary foot traffic and the low frequency of non powered rubber tired
dollies, a rail won't be required. Any assistance will come from a wall mounted
winch inside the boathouse.
Sincerely,
Randy and Edna Crawford
