I see that a new ENF came in over the summer(June 2008). The ENF2008-00098 was routed to BLD III for inspection. The ENF has different name but same property owner. Just checking on the status-do you want me to send out a letter stating the permit has been on hold for in excess of 6 months and faces cancellation or would you like to address it? Let me know what happens in the 30 day period. >>>Jim Scholz 9/29/2008 9:17 AM >>> Hi Charell, I am getting ready to send out a letter to Mr.Bennett concerning his enforcement cases(2)and the different options he has concerning them(Ryan is looking over the letter). Hopefully I will send out the letter tomorrow and have given him 30 working days to make a decision so I am in a holding pattern until then.If he decides to do the minimum then he won't need the building permit but he will need the MEP(MEP 2006-00081).If he decides to continue with his development then he will need the building permit along with a number of other permits(mostly HEX).So that is where I am at right now I can also send you a copy of the letter for the files if you want once I have mailed it out.I will keep you posted as to the progress and please contact me if you need other info.Also for your info if he doesn't let me know within the 30 days(November 10)then I will be setting a hearing date and we can probably cancel the building permit,hope that helps. Ryan and I met with him on Monday 10/20 and we have resolved both enforcement cases. I have also discussed with him(I am also sending out a letter of confirmation) today concerning both a revised GEO-Report that addresses the construction of the rock retaining wall that the above permits are for and also the need to have his HMP revised to address the rock wall. I am also trying to set up an on-site meeting with him to make sure everyone is on the same page concerning where the rock wall will be built and the possible need for shoreline permits if required. Hopefully I can do this in Mid November and then he can move forward and get the building permits issued and off your desk. Hope this helps if you have additional questions let me know. So,the activity states that once the ENF2006 has been taken care of it will be approved. I have a copy of an email Jim sent me in late October stating that he needed to do a site inspection sometime in mid November. He still needed a revised geo report and revised HMP. Can someone look at it? When did Jim leave? This one may have fallen between the cracks.
