Box 674 Allyn,WA 98542 RE: BLD98-1028 Parcel Number 22302-78-00050 Dear Ms. Server The property files have been reviewed and compared to the scope of the proposed project. However,we cannot sign off your building permit because the proposed manufactured home will have three bedrooms and your septic system was designed for two bedrooms. This constitutes an expansion. Consequently, your septic system will need to meet code. Due to the depth of the soil and the type of system installed, this system would not meet current code. However, it may be possible to upgragde the system by fronting the drainfield with a sand filter or some other device which meets the appropriate treatment standard. You have the following options: • Dig test holes and apply for an On-site Sewage Permit or • Reduce the number of bedrooms in your manufactured home. Please call me at extension 358 if you have any questions. Sincerely, Carolyn Jensen Environmental Health Specialist Cc: Case Manager
