8.1 Approval of Warrants and Treasurer Electronic Remittance

8.2 Approval of the Resolution changing the numbers of duplicate and unnecessary departments and programs
throughout Mason County’s Chart of Accounts (COA) effective retroactively to January 1, 2025.
8.3 Approval to cancel the Physical Damage Management insurance policy through Enterprise.
8.4 Approval to accept the donation application from Friends of Foothills Dog Park in the amount of $3,650
towards the construction of a concrete pad and path for the Foothills County Park.
8.5 Approval of the Resolution amending Resolution no. 81-19 regarding change drawers for Mason County
Public Health increasing the total change drawer amount to $400.
8.6 Approval to award the following 2025 Mason County Heritage grants: Harstine Island Community Club for
$4,000; Mason General Hospital Foundation’s Arts Commission Chapter/Mason Health Foundation for
$4,000; McReavy House Museum of Hood Canal for $4,000; Pickering Homemakers Club dba Pickering
Community Club for $4,000; and Skokomish Grange No. 379 for $4,000.
8.7 Approval of the Resolution amending Resolution no. 2023-078 amending Mason County Code Chapter 2.21
Mason County Purchasing and Contracting Policy and approval of the Resolution replacing Resolution no.
2021-036 establishing procurement guidelines for Public Works projects under $40,000 and use of the County
Small Public Works Consultant and Vendor rosters.
8.8 Approval for the Chair to electronically sign the Annual Certification; Certification of Expenditures for Traffic
Law Enforcement; Certification for Expenditures for Fish Passage Barrier Removal for the calendar year 2024
through the County Road Administration Board’s (CRAB) reporting system (CARS).
8.9 Approval of the Resolution replacing Resolutions 54 and 26-90 amending Mason County Code Section 2.52
updating the Public Works Road Department policies for “Organization”, “Handling Public Complaints &
Requests”, and “Work for Others”, and amending Resolution no. 2020-52 to update the Public Works
Department Organizational Chart in compliance with WAC 136-50-050.
8.10 Approval for Public Works to purchase a John Deere 135 excavator from Pape Machinery through the
Sourcewell joint cooperative purchasing contract no. 011723-JDC for a total cost of $281,332.48; the existing
2019 John Deere 135G excavator will be retained for backup use and other duties at the Solid Waste facility.
8.11 Approval of the Washington State Healthcare Authority Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion (LEAD)
contract no. K7135 amendment increasing the LEAD program budget by $40,262.
8.12 Approval of the professional services contract with North Mason Regional Fire Authority (NMRFA) for
syndemic clinical services.
8.13 Approval to submit a Consolidated Homeless Grant (CHG) Local Government application.
8.14 Approval for the Chair to sign the 2025 Mason County Comprehensive Plan – Climate Element Grant contract
amendment moving the due date of the final draft of the Climate Element to December 31, 2025.
8.15 Approval to appoint M. Dujon Johnson to the Mason County Housing Authority Board (HA) for a five-year
term expiring March 18, 2030.
