Dear Mr. Bayley:
This office received your December 19 , 1994 letter concerning the
development of duplexes on property near Island Lake. In that
letter, you stated that you withdraw your applications for SEPA
review and Mason Environmental Permit requested as part of
evaluating the development that you proposed (12 to 14 duplexes) .
Gary Yando, Department of Community Development Director, and I
discussed the contents of your letter. It is your decision to
request that Mason County no longer evaluate your multiple duplex
proposal . With the amount of Mason County staff time already
devoted to reviewing various aspects of the proposal, Department
of Community Development will not refund the -$200 . 00 fees that
are associated with the two applications .
If you wish to revise or resubmit a development proposal on this
property fronting on Island Lake Road, please arrange for a pre-
application conference with the Department of Community
Development and other departments to discuss the full review of
the proposal . If you have questions, you may reach me at the
Department of Community Development at 427-9670 ext-365 .
