As part of this department ' s review on your permit application, a
Shoreline (SPI) site inspection was performed on your property. Below you
will find comments made regarding the proposed development and it ' s
critical values .
In some cases, setbacks for development . from shorelines, steep slopes,
streams, and wetlands must be included in your .specific proposal; these
setbacks are included as part of the comments listed below.

COMMENTS:
Observed property is along Blacksmith Lake and has seasonal drainages
flowing onto property; considerable amount of property has been cleared,
especially between home and edge of lake/wetland area; home site is well
back from lake but proposed drainfield areas could be affected by
saturated soils and seasonal drainage (about 350 to 400 feet back from
lake) ; large pond area is located to North and is storing a lot of water
on site. House site would meet planning approval.
