HomeMy WebLinkAbout103-84 - Res. Speed Limit Road No. 41780 Purdy Cut-Off Road RESOLUTION NO. 103-84 SPEED LIMIT PURDY CUT-OFF ROAD (Mason Co. Road No. 41780) WHEREAS, the speed limits on County roads in Mason County, Washington, were fixed by Resolution on April 20 , 1981, as 50 miles per hour, except certain roads as otherwise posted; and, WHEREAS, due to the failure of the Skokomish River bridge on SR 106 the Purdy Cut-Off Road is being used as a detour route; and WHEREAS, existing conditions on the Purdy Cut-Off Road (Co. Road No. 41780) , Mile Post 0 . 00 to Mile Post 2 . 77, the total length of the road, warrants a speed limit of 35 miles per hour; THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AND ORDERED that the speed limit of 35 miles per hour is effective immediately on the Purdy Cut-Off Road, as referenced above, and the County Engineer is directed to erect the necessary speed limit signs in conformity herewith.
