MEETING MINUTES
MASON COUNTY COMMISSION CHAMBERS
JANUARY 7, 2025
Members Present: Nick Patterson - Law Enforcement Representative - Chair; Ed Haefliger-
Firefighter Representative; Sylvia Florez-Milsom - Member at Large; Randy Neatherlin - Mason
County Commissioner; Melissa Stearns- City of Shelton; Danielle Thompson, Secretary.
Chairperson Nick Patterson called the meeting to order at 8:03 a.m.
Approval of Minutes:
Neatherlin/Floret-Milsom motion and seconded approval of December 3, 2024 Minutes. Motion
carried.
Old Business:
Congratulated Nick, for another year elected on the LEOFF Board.
New Business:
Commissioner Neatherlin asked the Board if there was anything that they would like to bring
before the Board and directed them to the LEOFF Board Secretary if there is anything that they
would like add in the future.
Secretary of the Board informed the Board the eligibility for the board being spouse of previous
LEOFF members or current Law enforcement or Firefighters are eligible. This is per RCW
41.26.110(i) (ii). Secretary to provide a copy of the RCW with next agenda for possible review.
Executive Session - Review of Bills
Florez-Milsom/Neatherlin Moved and seconded to approve the bills. Motion carried.
Calendar:
Next LEOFF meeting will be February 4, 2025
Adjourn: Neatherlin/Floret-Milsom motion and seconded meeting adjourned at 8:13 a.m.
