Enclosed is an Addendum to the Non-Conforming Certificate along with a copy for your records.
The original needs to be recorded at the Mason County Auditors Office located on the second
floor at 411 N. 5th Street, Shelton, WA. Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed 12:30 pm
until 2pm, Monday through Friday, excluding state and national holidays.

The recording of this document amends and releases the Certificate of Non-Conforming
Development recorded under Auditor File #1924242 regarding the existing non-
conforming building identified as a 1980 60-ft x 14-ft manufactured home, placed on the
parcel without building permits or approval. A building permit has been issued for the
manufactured home, building permit number BLD2008-00995, and the final occupancy
inspection performed on May 18, 2010 has been approved, authorizing occupancy of
the structure.
The 41-ft x 24-ft site built structure located on the parcel has been converted to a
storage building in order to meet the requirements of the Mason County Development
Regulations; Section 17.03.029 as evidenced by inspection performed on May 18, 2010
and approved under building permit BLD2010-00374.

The parcel as noted above contains code enforcement violations of the
building/construction and/or development codes as adopted by Title 14 and Title
15 of the Mason County Code. Records indicate that the required permits and/or
inspections were not performed and code violations exist. The violation involves
the following: Placement of Manufactured Home without Mason County Building
permits or approval of occupancy and use. The owner was informed of the
violations on June 20, 2008. The manufactured home in question has been
boarded up and has been made secure from access or entry and is currently not
being occupied. The unit has not been granted occupancy approval through
Mason County and must complete the permit process.
The purpose of this notice is to inform future owners and/or lienholders
that the unit as it exists, does not comply with Mason County requirements
according to standards currently in place.
The recording of this document does not waive the rights of Mason County
to pursue enforcement/compliance action against the owner of record at this
time, future owners who purchase the property in this condition or any party with
any legal interest in the parcel or personal property. This structure has not been
permitted, inspected or approved by Mason County Building Department.
