Morris Property Cutting Timber without Permit
Site is located in a portion of the SW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of
Section 2 , Township 23 N. , Range 2 W. W.M.
Parcel# 22302-76-00010
On 10-31-96 a complaint was called into the County regarding
a cutting operation going on is the Tahuya-Blacksmith Lake area.
The complaintant indicated that the cutting of timber was going
on in or near a large wetland on the weekend of Oct . 26 & 27 .
DNR in Enumclaw was notified of the cutting complaint .
In the first week of November the Ruiz ' s came into the
office to discuss what was happening on the adjacent property to
the west of there property. We contacted Laurie Cox at the DNR
Workspace and the Ruiz ' s gave Ms. Cox better directions to the
site. It seems that Laurie couldn't find the site the first time
she went out . Laurie Cox said that she would post the site on
the second time around.
