Box 2098 Belfair, WA 98528 RE: Mason County Building Code Violation: BCC2007-00123 Building Permits: #24003 Site Address: 761 NE Toonerville Dr., Belfair, WA Legal Description: TR 10 of SE Parcel No.: 22302-43-00100 To all interested parties: The Mason County Building Department has a pending enforcement case against the above described parcel of land situated within Mason County for non-permitted construction of enclosed porch and illegal occupancy of 1989 manufactured home. According to the Mason County Assessor records, you are the current legal owner of this parcel. Our records indicate that the 1989 Fleetwood 44' x 28' manufactured home has never received a final inspection or permanent occupancy and use. A site inspection was conducted on March 24, 2008 and confirmed that an attached 20' x 14' enclosed porch as been constructed without county approval or permits. Pursuant to Mason County Code, Title 14 Building and Construction, permits for this type of activity is required under the 2006 International Building Code and your property is currently in violation status. The last inspection conducted on the manufactured home was April 16, 2003, which failed. A correction notice was posted listing the required recommendations that must be met in order to obtain a passing inspection and permanent occupancy. Permits must show activity every 180 days to stay active. To date, no other inspections have been scheduled or performed. You have been made aware of the required building permits of the attached porch, which was listed on the correction notice under #1. CURRENT PERMITS OUTSTANDING ENFORCEMENT / PENDING CANCELLATION: PERMIT #24003: Manufactured Home — Permit Pending Cancellation Please call and schedule an inspection on permit #24003 within 21 days of this notice. A $68.00 inspection fee is required and must be paid in full prior to inspection. For every inspection after that, a $68.00 fee is required until final pass approved. Failure to schedule the necessary inspection will result in enforcement actions. I have attached a copy of the correction notice, dated 4/16/03, for requirements that must be met prior to obtaining a final pass. If no inspections have been scheduled within the 21 days, this permit will be cancelled and will then be required to apply for a new permit and additional fees and penalties. 20' x 14' Enclosed Porch: Pending Enforcement You are required to permit or remove the attached porch. Because the addition is not in compliance at this time, the manufactured home cannot be finaled until the porch is permitted or removed. Please apply for the necessary after-the-fact building permit or remove structure within 21 days of the date of this notice. As a courtesy, I am asking that you contact me in regards to this violation and identify what your intentions are in closing these matters. If you do not contact me prior to April 28, 2008 additional enforcement actions will be taken. I look forward to hearing from you to make the necessary arrangements.
