Dear Inspector:
This letter is related to our upcoming construction plans and upgoilvreplacement septic design
for a property located at 625 SE Old Arcadia Rd.,Shelton, WA 98584,There is an existing 3-
bedroom house that the records show was built in 1959.
As the new owners of the property,we plan to do a major reconstruction of the house and build
an ADU where the detached garage currently sits. The current septic is for a 3-bedroom and we
plan to remodel the home in its currem footprint,but it will be a 2-bedroom upon completion.
The ADU will have approximately I,000 s.f.of living space and I-bedroom. It will be
constructed prior to the home. The replacement septic system is not an expansion and will have
3 bedrooms total.
We have notarized a CERTIFICATE OF RESIDENTIAL USE: LIMITATION ON NUMRER
OF BEDROOMS and it is recorded on the property deed. We understand the maximum
occupancy at any time is limited to 6 occupants total to Include both the main house and
the ADU,including any AlrBNB rentals.
