WHEREAS, Mason County and the City of Shelton are applying
to the State of Washington for a Community Development Block
Grant; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that certain conditions be met as
part of the application requirements .
WHEREAS, Mason County and the City of Shelton have conducted
at least one public hearing as part of the application process, to
receive and consider citizen comments on community needs and
proposed activities.
WHEREAS, Mason County and the City of Shelton shall enter
into and agree to the assurances contained in the application
and attached;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that William 0. Hunter, Chairman
of the Board of Mason County Commissioners, and Joyce Jaros, Mayor
of the City of Shelton, are authorized to submit this application
to the State of Washington on behalf of Mason County and the City
of Shelton.
